Why guests love itOur surfing teenager could paddle out from Lhohifushi Island whenever the swell looked right, and knowing dinner was covered around the clock meant we never had to plan meals around his sessions. The thirty-minute speedboat from Velana kept the transfer short enough that we started the holiday properly on day one rather than losing it to travel. Overwater villas here came with a tennis court within walking distance, which the rest of us used more than the reef most afternoons. All-inclusive at this level meant the drinks bill genuinely never came up.
