Why guests love it

We picked Makunudu Island for a week without an agenda, and the six-acre size turned out to be exactly right: five minutes from bungalow to jetty, five minutes to the badminton court, five minutes to Ara Iru Restaurant for dinner. Our two kids, nine and twelve, learned to snorkel off the house reef on day one and spent the rest of the week begging for one more session before the PADI centre closed for the evening.
