Sun Siyam Vilu Reef's house reef starts about 30 metres off the beach of Meedhuffushi, in Dhaalu (South Nilandhe) Atoll, so a snorkel needs no boat and no booking. That reef is the reason I would choose it, together with an all-inclusive that lets you move dinner between The Aqua buffet and set menus at The Well Done and The Spice. The seaplane takes about 35 minutes from Velana. Villas range from Deluxe Beach Villas on the sand to overwater Ocean Signature Villas with a slide straight into the lagoon.
